After a successful inaugural edition, the Princess Auto Pro-Am returns as part of the Players Cup in 2017. This event, which replaced our July golf tournament, continues to create a broader awareness of Princess Auto and the Princess Auto Foundation (PAF), as well as our reach in the community.

100% of the net proceeds from the Players Cup goes to support children’s initiatives through its primary charitable partners, including the PAF. As you know, the goal of the PAF is to assist the next generation of Canadian tradesmen and tradeswomen as they pursue their dreams through education. The Players Cup, Winnipeg’s stop on the Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada, believes that children are truly our champions of tomorrow. Join us as a volunteer to give our “Royal Service” treatment to our vendors, guests and other key business sponsors, as they play alongside professional golfers on the Mackenzie Tour. As a volunteer in this unique event, you will help a great cause and have the chance to experience the Pine Ridge Golf Club “inside the ropes”, as it has been set up for TOUR conditions.

Participation Includes:

  • One complimentary meal per shift (Team Members who volunteer the entire day receive breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • A Players Cup golf shirt and hat
  • Four Players Cup weekly passes

Available Volunteer Positions:

  • Greeter – Interact with Princess Auto Team Members and suppliers at various points throughout the day by driving a shuttle or being stationed at the main gate, parking lot, or driving range.
  • Registration – Check-in golfers when they arrive, hand out tee gifts and help with other tasks like prizing set up.
  • Team Hosts – Spend the day on the course driving a golf cart and act as the personal host for two players of a pro-am group. Should you be inclined, you'll have the opportunity to act as a caddie, by raking a bunker or cleaning a golf club,  for your golfers. Feel free to make their Princess Auto Pro-Am golfing experience Unique and Fun.
  • On-Course Support (FULL) – Drive a golf cart around on the course to ensure that Team Hosts have enough food and beverages for their players, as well as ensuring that things are up to par.
